Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PageTurnPDF (“PageTurnPDF”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and any related websites, apps, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are

PageTurnPDF provides browser-based tools to upload, edit, sign, merge/split, and manage PDF files. Contact: support@pageturnpdf.com.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required by local law) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3) Plans, Subscriptions & Billing

• We offer pay-as-you-go and subscription plans. Plan features and pricing are shown at sign-up and may change with notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated during a promotion or in these Terms.
• Taxes may apply based on your billing address and will be added where required.

4) Fair Use & Acceptable Content

• Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful (e.g., malware, hate, explicit illegal content).
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or usage limits.
• You are responsible for the content you upload and for complying with all applicable laws and third-party rights.

5) Your Content & License to Us

You retain all rights to documents you upload. You grant PageTurnPDF a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and create derivative outputs (e.g., thumbnails, flattened pages, compressed files) solely to provide and improve the Service and to meet legal or security obligations.

6) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

7) Storage, Availability & Changes

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, emergencies, or legal/security reasons.
• We may change features, impose or adjust limits, or discontinue parts of the Service. For material changes to paid features, we’ll provide reasonable notice.

8) Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third parties (e.g., Google/Microsoft sign-in, Stripe payments). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9) Intellectual Property

PageTurnPDF and its logos, product names, and the Service’s software and designs are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Except for rights expressly granted, no license is granted to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

10) Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED WITHOUT LOSS.

12) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAGE TURN PDF AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD (OR $50 IF YOU USED A FREE PLAN).

13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PageTurnPDF and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14) Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time and, for subscriptions, cancel from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or for legal/security reasons.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; some provisions (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive.

15) Refunds

Except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. If we materially fail to provide a paid feature you already purchased and cannot remedy it within a reasonable time, contact us and we’ll review in good faith.

16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of your primary operating entity’s jurisdiction (to be specified by you). The exclusive venue for disputes will be the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

17) Export Controls

You must comply with all applicable export and sanctions laws and may not use the Service in embargoed or restricted jurisdictions in violation of such laws.

18) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-app). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
